ACCJ Ecentral holds 2nd After Seven networking event in Tokyo
November 20th, 2008
TOKYO ― ACCJ Ecentral, a GPlusMedia service, on Thursday November 20 held a casual networking event, After Seven, for all Ecentral users in Akasaka. About 400 people attended the event and enjoyed networking over food, drinks and great entertainment in a friendly atmosphere.
After Seven was the second networking event organized by Ecentral and the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ACCJ) bringing together global-minded business people.
The event was sponsored by Adeco Corp, United Airlines, The Windsor Hotels International, Pacific Golf Management Group, JAPANiCAN Inc, Vision Consulting Services KK, RK Enterprise Co, Ltd., United States Meat Exporters Federation (USMEF), California Walnut Commission, and Saito Challegen 8. Prizes were generously donated by sponsors.
ACCJ President Alan Smith also attended the second After Seven event to introduce ACCJ and ACCJ Ecentral to visitors.
Having received a lot of supportive feedback on the After Seven event, ACCJ Ecentral is looking forward to providing employers and job seekers with more opportunities to have face-to-face “real communication” through more such events.
Ecentral is the official jobsite of the ACCJ. Launched in 2002, the service is designed to match bilingual professionals in Japan with the companies that need them. Employers can post open positions online, actively search for staff and inform potential employees about their companies.
