GPlusMedia sponsors HOPE International charity event 2008-05-09

TOKYO – GPlusMedia K.K. on Friday sponsored Tokyo Dinner organized by international non-profit organization HOPE International Development Agency Japan at the Canadian embassy. About 170 people from 10 donor organizations attended the dinner.

In the charity event, the participating organizations donated 1,407,000 yen in total and 427,000 yen was raised in a charity auction. The money will be used for water supply development and microcredit activities in Cambodia.

HOPE International Development Agency is a Canadian, non-profit, international development agency based in New Westminster, British Columbia, on the west coast of Canada. Working in Africa, Asia, and the Americas in such countries as Ethiopia, Cambodia, India, Afghanistan, the Philippines and the Dominican Republic, HOPE International undertakes and supports people-oriented projects to improve the supply of basic human necessities for the neediest of the needy in the developing world through self-help activities.
